BE SURE TO VISIT: www.jewellsjadeshow.com...Raised in South Jersey, I embraced the art of communication from Rowan University and Camden County College. It was there I learned the ropes of video production and later began my broadcasting career as a television personality on my independently produced talk show that aired for 14 months on UPN in Florida, Baltimore, Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia, Detroit and currently airs twice a week on Time Warner Cable in New York City.
My passion for community building is evident with my “extracurricular†activities. I consider it a true joy when helping to create understanding between groups of differing races, cultures, ages and classes. To this end, I travel regionally and nationally “keynotingâ€, consulting, and providing training and technical assistance to youth programs, school boards, teachers, parents, and even among gang members. I’ve interviewed many celebrities, some of which are Kenny Lattimore, The cast of HBO’s hit series The Wire, Vivian Green, Kim Fields, Musiq Soulchild, as wells as many politicians; I am heavily committed to the community & I look forward to being a part of the change to take place within the communities I visit.
