This is my family. Me my son Jaylen, Stepson Warren and my fiance Corrine. My fiance passed away on January 31, 2006 from Sickle Cell Anemia. We were the best of friends. Know that Sickle Cell Anemia is a blood disorder trait that lie's mainly in Black Americans. Know that Sickle Cell Anemia is when your blood cells form a cresent moon shape and causes complications in the flow of blood in your body which causes clots in main joints of the body, which causes severe pain. It doesn't mean that your blood is low or you get cold, which I've heard by many people! Know that one out of every three Black American babies born will carry the trait or have the full blown desease if both the parents are trait carriers. There are cases of the desease in Hispanics also. I want my Black American People to get knowledge of The Cancer of Black Americans(SICKLE CELL ANEMIA). And also know that there is no cure for this deadly desease, which the life of sicklecell patients is barely over 25. My baby made it to 27.
