I am a poet, actor/director, librarian, and political activist. I studied creative writing under Walter Van Tilburg Clark at the University of Nevada. I have well over over 100 amateur and professional theatre credits. In addition to having a MFA in Drama from OU, I have a B.A. in Creative Writing with a minor in Speech and Drama from the University of Nevada at Reno; I attended the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, where I was Student Body President and have a Master of Library and Information Studies from OU. In my other life, I have worked on the Alaska pipeline, been a counselor, a janitor, a disc jockey, sold cars, taught English to Vietnamese, coordinated the Medieval Fair, supervised for the Census Bureau, and am presently a librarian at the Oklahoma Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. I have two wonderful kids - Mabry and Michael. My political activism has never waned. peace and love.....
