Over this time, I have made great friends, enjoyed great parties and learned a lot about running a business. Ravi Singh: Real Estate Agent | Re/Max Vision Inc. I've found the career calling of my life. After spending 2 years working as a sales manager at IBM, I decided to go back and retrain. I wanted to work with families and sell something I felt attached to and could relate to. I also needed independence and wanted the ability to control my day. The income volatility didn't scare me. Ravi Singh: Musician I have been playing music for as long as I can remember. I am lucky that my father really encouraged me to find the gift of music. We have spent countless hours playing together Indian Classical music. I have studied tabla with the legendary Pt. Sharda Sahai, head of the Benares Gharana. I have been his student since 1992 and his disciple since 2000. My training has taught me a lot about music, discipline and life in general. My tabla has also taken me all across the world. I have had the opportunity to perform in the UK, France, the Carribbean and all over the US and Canada. Now I am starting to fuse my tabla trainging with my western percussion and Afro-Latin training to play in nightclubs as well. Check that story out at my other myspace page: Kid_ra. Ravi Singh: The newly reborn. What on earth am I talking about here?? Well, at the end of 2006, I was reborn. What I mean, is I felt God has given me a second chance in life. I have been fighting a terrible disease for the past 4 years. After 2 months of rigorous hospitl time and 2 operations... I am cured!! It was so hard. There was so much pain. There was so many tears. There was so much blood. But I had the support of
family and friends. That's what made he difference:
Having undergone all this, I have found a newfound thirst for living. I am going to make the most of life. Trust me... I mean that. I encourage you to do the same!
