Empire All-Stars

Inland Empire Skinhead/Early Reggae

About Me

The Empire All-Stars consist of veteran & amazing players of The Skeletones which are Mark Cummings. on bass, Alex Tasch. on guitar, and Kip Wirtzfeld on vocals and sax. New comers to this new & unique band are talented Brent Lobo from The Revivers, ex-lead vocalist Tony Greene from The Debonaires and Bernie Garcia piano/ organ & engineer. The fact that this band was a studio project to begin with, now starts to breathe new ground for studio work & live performances. True to the original sounds from Jamaica, the Empire All-Stars would like to keep the same tradition using old recording techniques, as well as the new technology with computers and the internet. The other fact is some of the recordings were only done on a 4-track using only 4 microphones and in a living room & garage!!! "Along with some of the recordings, we try to keep some of our music distinctive and almost vintage to the sound of the past, as well as pursuing to give music to our new friends & fans"
