massim

Project Massim got started in year 1999. That was when Niko got his pc-based studio working in his flat at the Barcelona city center. All the good music that was all around the city, in different night clubs and bars, influenced to this type of computer, guitar and singing combination. Later after moving back to Helsinki the project continued with different people participating in it and also a few gigs were held around Helsinki.
As massim is a project where lots of different people have partcipated in it, also lots of stuff, like samples and loops, have been done by them.
The latest Massim as you hear it here is basically composed by Niko and Pepe. Janne has done most of the synthethizers and especially helping with the arrangements. There`s also now bassist Kimmo D. and drummer Niko N. with the group now. And the first album is on its way!! The mixing is taking place in Berlin...
