Eye On A Stick

Never, ever, ever , ever, bl**dy anything!

About Me

Hello, it’s me, John. I live in Aylesbury, Bucks, UK, Earth etc. Married with 2 kids. I have zero sense of adventure and get the shakes if I’m away from a PC screen for more the 4 hours. I make music, extremely low budget videos, road safety and music management software. I’ve been various things, mostly a pain the arse but also a robotic dancer, acted a bit, stuck labels on quiches, scored a couple of musicals and some soundtrack work, illustrator, made maps for nature reserves, operated telephone switchboards, played in various bands…….and master of none….except the quiche thing, my labels were a thing of beauty.

My original MySpace account was (is) of a music type (it can be located here www.myspace.com/zealey ) but I decided it was time to get personal. There are some real disadvantages to being a ‘band’ on MySpace as far as interaction with ‘normal’ people goes.

Things that float my boat

My family, my extended family and my buddies. Music of all kinds Any kind of sing-a-long Beer Curry The Personal Computer Velcro – the greatest invention in the world. Immodium - the 2nd greatest invention in the world. Peace. Love.

Things that drive me nuts

People who don’t say ‘thank you’ Not being able to defend a judgement made against ones self. Anybody that seriously believes they have the right to take someone else’s life. People (past and present) who misinterpret the foundations of their religion and make everyone else pay for it. Ryan Adams’ version of ‘Wonderwall’. There’s something about it that makes me want to get violent. Me.

If you are at a loose end, have a gander at a video I made with my son as something to do in the summer hols.

My Interests

Listening to music, making music, video, 3d stuff, art, programming. Communication in general. Eating and drinking too much. Pub beer gardens in summertime. Seaside towns in winter. Karaoke. Dancing. I love my family, they are a good source of free entertainment. Living in Aylesbury..I actually do really like it here.

I'd like to meet:
