'All art constantly aspires toward the condition of music.' - Walter Pater

About Me

I sing, write, and play guitar in Aloud . This is what I do for a living. I do office work for fun. You could call it a hobby.

I love music. I have a pretty good CD and mp3 collection, but I still think vinyl is the best way to listen to music. I know more about the Beatles and Spider-Man than is good for me.

There are a handful of bands/artists (or whatever) that I think are sonically repugnant, but I do make a concerted effort to be mindful of the personal taste of others (no matter how terrible it may be). I'm no snob, man.

My party tricks include posing as the following: web designer, film editor, entrepreneur, writer, and dude who's handy with Photoshop. I did not go to school for any of those things so I'm not really that good. I've been working on a movie script for the last 10+ years. I've re-written it 5 or 6 times and killed it twice.

I dropped out of college after a year and don't regret it.

I love reading books. Everyone should love reading books.

I have opinions on a lot of things, but I'm not dumb enough to think I know everything. However, I am dumb enough to expect the same courtesy from others.

I'm a contrarian by nature, so I will probably disagree with whatever you say. Or not.

But really, you should buy this CD . It would please me greatly.

I've been getting a lot of junk friend requests lately, so if you want to add me my last name is Beguiristain. Come on. Don't be lazy. You know how to copy and paste, love.

I woke up this morning to an empty sky

As indescribably angry as I feel right now I'm leaving my personal politics out of this, since I feel I'd be preaching either to the choir or a wall. Between all the 9/11 shit going on, I also saw a t...
