Jonathan Gaspard is from a long line of ministry. Growing up in southeast Louisiana and the Atlanta area he was always very heavily involved with his local church. Picking up the bass at 13 to play for his youth group, he quickly began to play for the main services at his local church. At 16 Jonathan went on his first mission trip with Teen Mania. Since then he has been all over the world on missions. This includes: Mexico, Peru, Haiti, Morocco, Spain, England, India and Bolivia. He is a graduate of Christ for the Nations Institute where he was a member of Living Praise and Praise Band as well as an attendee of the School of Worship. He has been a guest instructor at Christ for the Nations School of Worship as well as a Bass Guitar Instructor for the Institute. After graduating CFNI Jonathan went on to youth pastor in Warsaw, Indiana at Touch of Life Church. While there he began to lead worship outside his youth department at local churches and youth camps in various states. He also established a local area venue that hosted such bands as: Thousand Foot Krutch, Ill harmonics, Beanbag and more.
After Leaving Warsaw Jonathan moved back to south Louisiana where he toured with country artist David St. Romain before moving back to Dallas, Texas. Currently, Jonathan is attending Dallas Baptist University where he will be graduating in 2007. He is a member of Gateway Church in Southlake where he is involved with the worship department there.
Jonathan is an accomplished musician who has played with artist such as: Shane & Shane, Seventh Day Slumber, Marcos Barrientos, Eimi Hall Band, Lift (Envoy), Lacey (of Flyleaf), David St. Romain, Kari Jobe as well as many others. Currently Jonathan is focusing on his solo projects, as well as a freelance bassist.
