ITA. OverFunk! Cover band rivolta con l'anima all'influenza della black music, prende forma ad aprile del 2005. Spazia dal funky primordiale di James Brown, alla dance anni '70 ed alle recenti contaminazioni della tendenza house. Stefania, la voce femminile del gruppo, libera nelle sue interpretazioni la magia di una grintosa anima soul supportata dai cori di tutta la band. Il motore ritmico, composto dal potente suono della batteria di Jimmy e dal portamento funky del basso di Lauro, dà sfogo alle sinergie emotive ed alle intuizioni interpretative del gruppo. Completano la band i ricami di Luca, chitarrista proveniente dalla scena musicale triestina. Ultimo, ma non ultimo alle tastiere Daniele, esperto in tecnologiche alchimie ritmiche che con la colorata miriade dei suoi suoni riesce ad esaltare il mix esplosivo degli OverFunk. Il costante impegno, mirato alla qualità musicale ed all'intrattenimento, vede oggi la band esibirsi in noti locali del triveneto con continui e riconosciuti apprezzamenti.
ENG. OverFunk! OverFunk is a cover band with its soul devoted to black music. OverFunk started to spread their music in april, 2005 under the strong influence of James Brown's funky roots and with an eye open towards '70s dance music and the new house music trend. Stefania (singer) frees in her interpretations all the magic of her fiery black soul, being supported from the choirs of all the band. The rythmical engine of the band is fuelled by powerful Jimmy's drums and by the funky groove of Lauro's bass guitar: thanks to these two guys all the intuitions of the band can take the form of an emotional synergy. Musical tracery works are completed by the sunlit sound of Luca's guitar. Last but not least, master of keyboards Daniele with his colorful wall of sounds can raise to heaven the explosive mix of OverFunk. OverFunk are constantly engaged in improving the quality of their music and entertainment, and at present they are continuously invited to play in well-known cafés and discobar throughout Friuli Venezia-Giulia.
