You're probably wondering why I'm here and so am I

About Me

I spent my childhood trying to grow up too quickly. I figure I'm currently the mental age of 75, complete with knitting projects, cups of herbal tea before an early bedtime, a habit of beginning sentences with "back in my day..", and fits of senility.

My Interests

Arm-wrestling, music-induced rememberings of childhood, perfecting the marriage of soultrain and robot dance moves, tinkering, developing new personas, remembering peoples birthdays, being footloose and fancy-free.

I'd like to meet:

The walls are full of cracks, the cracks are full of strangers, trying to guess my weight.

Music:

Yanni, Demis Roussos, Nana Mouskouri, Julio Iglesias...you know, all the good stuff.

Movies:

La Cite des Enfants Perdus, Wild Zero, The Goonies, Man Bites Dog, Mr. Vampire, La Haine, A Chinese Ghost Story, Quadrophenia, Blade Runner, Shaun of the Dead, Crooklyn, Do The Right Thing.

Television:

The League of Gentlemen, Deadwood, Twin Peaks, The Young Ones, The Mighty Boosh, Kids of Degrassi Street, Tales From Fat Tulip's Garden, T-Bag and the Pearls of Wisdom, Northern Exposure.

Books:

Fiction & Non-Fiction. Biographies & auto-biographies. Hardcover & paperback. I like books...

Heroes:

Gough Whitlam, Noel Fielding..

My Blog

Every face in this town reminds me of something I'd rather forget

I think it's a general rule the world over that no one likes their home town - and I'm no exception. The mountains are a damn sight weirder than your average town, and it's only with leaving...

The nightmare is over - The Velour Jumpsuit Saga

In an attempt to save my sanity, and to show you all the object of my hatred, I will now share with you the tale of the dreaded jumpsuit from hell. This little number has been plagueing me for the l...
