Class Dates: Sept. 5, 12, 19, 26, Oct. 3, 10
Class Time: 6:45 – 7:30 pm
Class Topics:
9/5: Richard and Terry Bryant on the Biblical injunction for stewardship and breadth of current issues
9/12 and 9/19: Johanna Moretti and Barb Carlozzi on foods, buying locally and seasonally, organic foods, food co-ops, etc
9/26: Sharp Family on what can be done at home(chemicals,water, elec., etc)
10/3: Jennifer Tressler on Recycling
10/10: Video “Green is the New Red, White, and Blue” for adults; related crafts and projects for kids (Ann Dugger)
Stewardship Committee Goal: To motivate and enable First Christian Church and its members to practice responsible stewardship of the environment by conserving energy, water, and non-renewable resources; by utilizing recycled materials; by recycling all products that may be altered and reused, and by choosing environmentally-friendly aternatives to toxic household and garden chemicals
