About Me
Dread Culture Soundsystem is Selekta Firuzaga's Reggae & Dub soundsystem, the first reggae soundsystem in Istanbul, Turkey; which made it's first session on September 1st, 2007. DCSS will organizing own events playing Roots Reggae & Dub, UK Steppers and Digi-dubs mostly on the sessions. There will also be a dynamic band of monthly live improvised dub jam sessions with variations of instruments travelling the world of dub. Furthermore DCSS will be a host for live reggae & dub shows and some other dj sets likewise jungle, dubstep, d&b, hip-hop, breakbeat etc..) both for local and outernational sounds. DCSS will be producing it's own riddims and dubplates and looking for vocals & chanters for production and live shows.
