About Me

IF YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT HOW I THINK.-----google:thealphaprojectalpha Go To Physorg, My Name on there is gman. You can see all of my post if you click my name.I have spent much time in the garage, performing for my cat. Now I am coming out of the garage and performing for real people. Ultimately the goal is to form a band and go ape shit. I have had some intresting proposals from people who want to jam with me lately and I am slowly and delberately looking at other musicians around the Lafayette area who might fit in with this sort of project. I am currently working on a demo CD to distribute to other band members and we will take it from there. This project is very fluid right now and influences are coming from all angles. I feel like this is a creative time in my life and I am excited at the prospects. I know I have a bit more growing and developing to do musically and I am all about that, and now it is time to find like minded people to assist in my project. I have quite a few songs written already and I am very capable of writing many more. Right now it`s go time!On another note. I own a completely mobil recording, mixing, and sampling studio, and I can be set up, on location, as quick as 10 minutes and burn your CD right there. If you need touchups or editing I can do that also. If you are interested in making a recording contact me through Myspace and let me know what you`re looking to do. Great for Singer Songwrighter stuff, Great for events. I find that sometimes if the studio can go and work in the comfort of the musicians own element then he is much more relaxed and the sounds are strong and confident and the musican can perform at his best with out even leaving the house. I am not affiliated with a label so there are no funky contracts to sign and I am new to the producing side of things so it may be cheaper than you think.

Band Members: As of right now "Cross Traffic" has two members:JJ Harvey as "JJ Harvey" & Albert Guilliot as "The G Man"We are both songwriters and we write alot of songs... Some get played some don't.============================================= ==================================================PHOTOS: The photos of us were taken by Mark Steve Guillory. (marksteveguillory.com) & Crystal/ ZeppixBig Thanks to both photographers, as they both are very talented artists.---------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------thealphaprojectalpha is the bigining, the initial project, a starting point, I just had to give it a name...But The Alpha Project is not so much about me any longer. The Alpha Projects goal is to bring people together and ignite a union of minds in a effort to discover the truth of everything, and unlock the often miss interpreted power of "cooperating systems"... Then put it into song! Its about connecting with people and giving them something to associate with. ENERGY!!! Love, GmanTHE SCREENING: Although all songs do undergo strict musical standards before presenting them to the public, by my cat, Zeus... AKA : Gozar the Gozariean. Oh..he doesn't say anything but he gives me that look and I can tell right away if the song is ready to take public or not.Half of Cross Traffic recorded songs are done with a simple lap top, and usb interface, right on the side of the street. The other half were recorded in a tiny Recording Studio in Arnaudville. Maybe one day we will use a real studio but until then this is the best that we can do.COOL GAME: Let off a little steam playing this game------------------Falling Bush

Sounds Like: Although we try to vary our songs and styles, I guess the predominant tones in our songs are scratchy and rough sounding. Certainly not refined. We are not afraid to go outside of the box either and we both love and appreciate all kind of music, experimental music as well as a more traditional sounding stuff. Our music is like a box of chocolates...you never know what you`re gonna' get next, and neither do we. One think one thing that you can look toward is Cross Traffic has plans on migrating to more of a electric/heavier area of sound, we welcome you to watch us grow our brand of music as we plan to change our music on here as much as we have time for.
