Vanity Falls is an up and coming super-group based out of Toronto, Canada. The power-trio is comprised of Sally Skullz (Lead Vocals, Guitars, Piano), Micky 4 (Bass Guitar), and Moss (Vocals, Drums). Both Sally and Mick have been writing music together for years, and after the collapse of their last project, they teamed up with drum virtuoso Moss. The three meshed immediately, both creatively and personally, and by the end of the second rehearsal, agreed that they were on to something. Wasting no time, the trio wrote fourteen songs and attracted the attention of producer Darren Grahn (Nickelback, Metallica, Motley Crue, Monster Magnet, 40 Ft. Echo) and flew out to the west coast to begin recording their five song E.P. in Vancouver. Honing their songs and skills to near perfection over the next two months, Darren would help the band to forge a sound both immensely unique and extremely inviting to listeners. Grasping from a diverse assortment of influences Vanity Falls combines elements of rock, pop, metal, funk, alternative, and grunge into an easily accessible sound for listeners.
For a band so early out of the starting gates of their career, Vanity Falls has been extremely well received, attracting the attention of the world renowned magazine Guitar Player, various newspapers, magazines and Halo Guitars — a company Sally Skullz endorses based out of Hollywood, California — all before the completion of their debut album. With their infectiously catchy songs, awe-inspiring instrumental virtuosity, and total undying passion, determination, and focus, Vanity Falls is a band on the rise. Look out.
