Vainglorious Bon Vivant

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

To run around kids in get-go cars, vaseline afterbirths and neon coughs, galaxies full of nobodies giving us the farewell run around.

I took a virgin mary axe to his sweet baby jane, lost my innocence to a no good girl, scratch my face with anvil hands and coil my tongue around a bumble bee mouth

and I give it all back to you.

Several recent quotes about me condensed into one; "Consistently engaging observational savant."

And, I'm starting a band called "Life Boat For Ugly." And, I'm starting another band called "The Creepy White Vans;" we're pretty much just gonna rip off the Queens of the Stone Age.

My Interests

Culture wars fought by cunning mass marketers, identity branding, smoothies, upside-down military presses, reading classics that are forgotten about in a society that is fast becoming a predominantly visual one, g-star and religion clothing, boots made with rare leathers.

I'd like to meet:

Blondes who can pull off red jeans. T.S. Elliot. And, people who unite two opposite sides of the spectrum and make the world a little more interesting because of it.

Music:

UNKLE, Junkie XL, Prefuse 73, BT, Mark Lidell, Deerhoof, Menomena; can you tell I'm working on a remix?

Movies:

Artistic, High Modernism films by Mr. Frederico Felini and "Tideland" by Terri Gilliam.

Television:

Aqua teen hunger force and Sunday Morning (when I can catch it)

Books:

I'm in LA now, it's Bukowski time!

Heroes:

Robert Burton, Jesus, Thom Yorke

an analogy

I've been getting into what's known as "controlled fatigue training." An example would be jumping rope as fast as you can for one minute then immediately doing a set of strength exercises, like pull u...

Lifes Short Commit Adultery

I'm a firm believer in the fact that, in a lot of ways, there's nothing new under the sun. However, as a society and individuals, we constantly find ways to reshape, repackage, and re-invent our world...

The Surreal Life

I spoke with Mary Kate-Olsen's agent and Method Man's agent yesterday concerning a film we are working on. It seems as though I've fallen down a rabbit hole and have landed in some strange place. And ...

Intimidation

Last night I joined a gym in Hollywood. This will be another one of those times you gotta step out of the "comfort zone" (forgive the self-help term please); there were lots of pretty people in really...

Thoughts arrive like butterflies

Friday, Rybo and I hit up Katsuya. It rocked. It was super-LA; posh and Japanese. We just missed Ryan Seacrest. I don't really do cocktails but they have a drink called the burning mandarin, i'll add ...
