I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Having always been interested in Hi-Fi and the music scene the natural progression was to drift toward electronica. After attending every kind of live show from the Grateful Dead to Punk and Metal bands I found something seemed to be missing. Like the potential for something really great was there, but didn't really come to pass. It also occurred to me what made really great events was the environment created by those participating. I tend to believe electronic music and the people involved realize the true potential in music events. In the early 90s when Japan's underground scene was still fresh and new I got involved with a great group of promoters and DJs in Tokyo. Most influential were Spoo and Nemesis of Oddessy, Mik of Key Energy and R-1 of Horizon before Equinox and the big rainbow parties started. Early on Sven Vath and Hardfloor seemed to set the tempo for the afore mentioned fantastic events. The sounds comming from Frankfurt (Paragon, Etc.) and artists like Choci and the Freedom of Sound really moved some dancefloors. As these events grew in popularity I continued to mix privately for small groups of friends near Yokohama. After returning to the states I collaborated on several large venue events and outdoor events before turning my focus elsewhere. There is something truly therapeutic about a really good party with really good friends. I hope to hear from you and thanks for reading. Feel free to drop me a line for mix samples or questions. I'll try to have a new mix set on my page every week. Here is a link to this week's set http://www.sendspace.com/file/nn6ghj If you want to download or podcast a mix click the link in the MP3 player or go to http://www.mixupload.com/sarvodaya I'll have a live streaming set every Sunday, 8pm EST. at http://www.transmissionfm.com Thanks for listening!!
