Alcova

Gli Alcova sono un vero e proprio melting-pot di emozioni che colpiscono in pieno petto chi ascolta la loro musica. Nati a Milano, hanno macinato concerti in buona parte del Nord Italia non tanto per promuovere la loro musica quanto per avere la possibilità di confrontarsi con un pubblico sempre differente con cui scambiare energia e passione.Il nome Alcova è tutt’altro che casuale e li rappresenta particolarmente: la parola Alcova può infatti rappresentare sia la nicchia dove vengono posti, nei luoghi di culto, le raffigurazioni dei santi, ma anche rappresentare il letto dei piaceri nuziali. Un incontro tra sacro e profano che traspare dalle liriche e dall’immaginario delle canzoni ma che rappresenta il gruppo anche a livello musicale, dato che l’esperienza e le influenze di ogni singolo musicista si amalgamano in un tutt’uno, andando a creare una vera e propria “nicchia di suoni”, un sound davvero unico e particolare.

The Alcove is a real melting-pot of emotions that affect full chest who hears their music. The name Alcova is far from random and represents them particularly: the word Alcova can represent both the niche where places are, in places of worship, depictions of saints, but also represent the bridal bed of delights. La fine del 2006 li vede firmare per la Stigmàta Records ( www.stigmatarecords.com – www.myspace.com/edizionistigmatarec ) e a settembre 2007 uscirà il loro primo singolo che conterrà “Faccia al Muro” e “La collina del Vento”.
