About Me

I'm an outcast, a misfit, a rebel by nature, iconoclast by theory, out by law. In this world, I'd have it no other way.

"At this point in history, the bottom line is that young people dominate the expression of rebellion and resistance in their struggle against the pain and towards mental, physical, and spiritual liberation." ~~Mutulu Shakur~~
"The concept is this, basically: The whole black nation has to be put together as a black army and we're going to walk on this racist power structure. And we're going to say to the whole damn government, 'Stick 'em up, muthafucka! This is a hold-up! We come for what's ours!" ~~Bobby Seale~~
"Thus those skilled in war subdue the enemy's army without battle .... They conquer by strategy." ~~Sun Tzu ~ from "THE ART OF WAR"~~
"Know the enemy and know yourself; in a hundred battles you will never be in peril. When you are ignorant of the enemy, but know yourself, your chances of winning or losing are equal. If ignorant both of your enemy and yourself, you are certain in every battle to be in peril." ~~Sun Tzu ~ from "THE ART OF WAR"~~
"People respect the expression of strength and dignity displayed by men who refuse to bow to the weapons of oppression. Though it may mean death, these men will fight, because death with dignity is preferable to ignominy. Then, too, there is always the chance that the oppressor will be overwhelmed." ~~Huey P. Newton~~
May 13, 1985 5:05pm ** Never forget how the Philadelphia Police Department (PPD) carried out a terrorist attack on the MOVE Organization's Headquater's on Osage Ave. They dropped a fire bomb on the row house and let it burn down the whole city block. Over 60 homes were burned down and much more tragically, 11 people were killed including five children.
"You cannot expect the same people who took your freedom from you to give it back to you. You got to take it from them." ~~John Africa~~
"Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the sentiment of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people." ~~Karl Marx~~
"The black revolution is much more than a struggle for the rights of Negroes. It is forcing America to face all of its interrelated flaws - racism, poverty, militarism, and materialism. It is exposing evils that are rooted deeply in the whole structure of our society." ~~Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.~~
"It is not the destiny of black America to repeat white America's mistakes. But we will, if we mistake the trappings of success in a sick society for the signs of a meaningful life. If black men continue to do so, defining "femininity" in its archaic European terms, this augurs ill for our survival as a people, let alone our survival as individuals. Freedom and future for blacks do not mean absorbing the dominant white male disease. . . As black people, we cannot begin our dialogue by denying the oppressive nature of male privilege. And if black males choose to assume that privilege, for whatever reason, raping, brutalizing, and killing women, then we cannot ignore black male oppression. One oppression does not justify another." ~~Audre Lorde~~
I hate having to struggle. I honestly do because I wish I had been born into a world where it was unnecessary. This context of struggle and being a warrior and being a struggler has been forced on me by oppression. Otherwise, I would be a sculptor, or a gardener, a carpenter. I would be free to be so much more. ~~Assata Shakur~~

"The significant problems we have cannot be solved with the same level of thinking with which we created them" ~~Albert Einstein~~

"The overman...Who has organized the chaos of his passions, given style to his character, and become creative. Aware of life's terrors, he affirms life without resentment." ~~Friedrich Nietzsche~~

"To predict the behavior of ordinary people in advance, you only have to assume that they will always try to escape a disagreeable situation with the smallest possible expenditure of intelligence." ~~Friedrich Nietzsche~~
"No march, movement or agenda that defines manhood in the narrowest terms and seeks to make women lesser partners in this quest for equality can be considered a positive step." ~~Angela Davis~~

"You know it makes me unhappy When brothas make babies, and leave a young mother to be a pappy And since we all came from a woman Got our name from a woman and our game from a woman I wonder why we take from our women Why we rape our women, do we hate our women? I think it's time to kill for our women Time to heal our women, be real to our women And if we don't we'll have a race of babies That will hate the ladies, that make the babies And since a man can't make one He has no right to tell a woman when and where to create one So will the real men get up I know you're fed up ladies, but keep your head up" ~~Tupac Amaru Shakur~~

"I have the audacity to believe that peoples everywhere can have three meals a day for their bodies, education and culture for their minds, and dignity, equality and freedom for their spirits. I believe that what self-centered men have torn down, men other-centered can build up."~~Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.~~

"Hope is not blind optimism" ~~Barack Obama~~

"People are ungrateful, fickle, dissembling, anxious to flee danger, and covetous of gain. So long as you promote their advantage, they are all yours and will offer you their blood [when the need for it is scarce]. When the need arises, however, they will turn against you. The prince who bases his security upon their word, lacking other provision, is doomed."
~~Niccolo Machiavelli~~

“I hope to build more then an army, Make more then just music money. I’m aiming to give a life time supply of food and shelter to the youth whom really need it by doing what I love the most, which is music. I don’t see how u can have 5 houses and 5 cars and not help your fellow brothers and sisters who have nothing." ~~Dante Moody~~

“You wouldn’t ask why the rose that grew from the concrete has damaged petals. On the contrary, we would all celebrate its tenacity. We would all love its will to reach the sun. Well, we are the roses; this is the concrete; and these are my damaged petals.” ~~Tupac Amaru Shakur~~

"To be born into a free society and not be born free is to be born into a lie." ~~James Balwin~~

"I have come to recognize that true relatives aren't always related by the blood that flows in your veins, but by the blood, sweat and tears that is given for the common good of all." ~~Leonard Peltier~~

“You have no feeling for the fact that prophetic human beings are people who suffer a great deal: you merely suppose that they have been granted a beautiful “gift,” and you would even like to have it yourself. But we do not heed that it is their pains that make them prophets.”
~~Friedrich Nietzsche~~
