About Me

I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!
Hmmmm...where to begin. I was born a poor black child...oh wait...that wasn't me. Ummm...let's see...I'm just an above average guy looking for some new friends. I'm a television editor working on commercials and corporate training films. It's a lot of fun most of the time but I'd like to move in to actual long format programming...sitcoms or feature films. I love sports...primarily college football, soccer and tennis but I can enjoy about anything except golf and Nascar. Let's face it...they aren't sports. I love movies although it's been a while since I've seen one that really just blew me away. I like musical theater...cliche I know but I can't help it. It's in my genes. I'm also a HUGE Disney fan. Disney World truely is the happiest place on Earth to me. I try to go every year for a week and it really relaxes me. I'm originally from Oak Ridge, TN (home of the atom bomb) but I've been in Birmingham since I was 6 years old. I like it here but TN still feels like home. My Interests

Sports, mainly Soccer...I love it but it's so hard to follow here in the Southeast. Thank God for Direct TV's Direct Kick, College football in the Fall...there is nothing better than watching Tennessee beat Alabama Over and Over and Over again!!!! haha, Theater, Movies, Music, Travel, Reading,...I'm pretty open to anything once. Except I have no desire to jump out of a plane. I'm just sayin'.

I'd like to meet:

I'm looking to meet people that I can trust, someone who challenges me and exposes me to new things or different interests from my own. People who like everything I like ONLY because I like them tend to annoy me. I'm looking for individuals with goals and aspirations of their own and hopefully I can help them achieve those goals...and in turn they push me to work harder and try new things.

Music:

It would be shorter to tell you what I DON'T like but that would appear negative. I guess my favorite music would be 80's Alternative Rock. Bands like U2 and REM. I'm also a fan of lesbian rock...The Indigo Girls...Melissa Etheridge. I'm open to anything really.

Movies:

The Color Purple, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Star Wars, Good Will Hunting. Not a huge fan of the independent film. I appreciate the effort that goes in but usually I'm more attracted to big studio productions. I like the romance of film and indie stuff is so harsh and real it doesn't feel like an escape for me. I'm also not a fan of horror films. I don't think it's a good idea to put all of those evil, frightening thoughts in your subconscious. Somehow I end up seeing all of them anyway.

Television:

The West Wing is the best show on television. Not a big fan of Reality TV. I think people are manipulative enough and that behavior should not be encouraged or rewarded. I like the Real World/Road Rules Challenges...Project Greenlight...Will & Grace...The Contender...Extreme Makeover: Home Edition...and a whole bunch more. Mostly my TV stays on ESPN though.

Heroes:
