Cherie Amour

Cherie recently starred as “Mrs. Davis” in the Summerfest Musical Theatre production of Back to the Dream. Prior to that, she performed as “Graziella” in the Theatre LJCC’s production of West Side Story and as “Rosaline” in the Birmingham Park Players' rendition of Romeo and Juliet. She also starred as the rebellious “Vennie” in the Birmingham Festival Theatre’s Jar the Floor and sang in the inaugural Cabaret Performance Showcase at the WorkPlay Theatre. With an extensive background in television and film, Cherie was the host of Birmingham’s own home redecorating show, Time 4 Change, which aired weekly on CBS. She's been featured on MTV’s Total Request Live and FOX’s Ambush Makeover and appeared in Tim Burton’s Big Fish. Cherie was recognized on Birmingham Magazine’s “Hot List of 2006” and selected as one of the Birmingham Business Journal’s “Seven People to Watch in 2007.” ..
