Influences: The songwriter gets INSPIRED (not necessarily influenced) by: Chris Cornell, David Gray, whenever I hear great backing vocals, Alanis Morissette, Erykah Badu's livealbum, Moneybrother, classical choirmusic by Francis Poulenc, my sister Mia Coldheart, The Sounds, my favourite right now - brilliant Jenny Wilson, the way Alicia Keys plays the piano, Madonna, Fleetwood Mac, The Smiths, and Depeche Mode, among a lot of other musicians, songwriters and things. Things like fullmoons, lovers and friends, red wine and my piano.HOWEVER, every year since I performed my first song in 1992, I get to hear that my music and my voice reminds people about Kate Bush. I have never listened to her, but I realize it might be about time that I do?
