About Me

Forenzic Beats, born Lester Leonard Jr., in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Shortly after his birth, his father, whom at the time was active in the U.S. military, was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. Two and half years later, the entire family was stationed on Fort Lewis, Washington where FB spent most of his adolescence. It was there, he grew fawned of all types of music. Alternative, jazz, and hip hop were among the many genres he embraced. He particularly loved instrumentals because they allowed him to pick a part the instruments used to create the elaborate sounds. His appreciation for music grew when he learned that his father was a disc jockey for a popular California radio station in the late 70s. As a child, FB fantasized about being a D.J. himself. His fathers record player was often the victim of his experiments. He would mimic the D.J.s hed seen on T.V and attempted to take on the craft of scratching. Although his sound was not polished, he was surely on to something. Throughout his early teens, FB took on other hobbies that pushed his passion of music to the sideline, but it was never too far away.A true love for music was in his blood and he knew he had a gift. After he graduated from high school in June of 2003, he started college. Unsure of what direction he wanted to take, he decided to attend a community college to pursue a degree in Business Administration. A few months into college, his passion for music took hold. After meeting some local producers, he realized that he wanted to produce and arrange music. FB began to invest in a well-know music production program for computers known as, Fruity Loops (FL Studios). He soon mastered the techniques of sampling and sequencing. Almost two years later while working and attending college, FB purchased official equipment now used to create his beats. He respects and aspires to develop a distinct sound like many of todays top producers such as, the Neptunes, RZA, Timbaland, Dr. Dre, and Scott Storch. Although their influences are prevalent throughout his beats, it is clear that he has developed a sound that is all his own. In the future, he hopes to leave a mark in music and inspire up and coming producers to come. From the sounds of things, he will do just that
