I like how my friend put it: Look around you...the world is what I am interested in...aside from the world, I like a lot of stuff: music, concerts (small venues and the big rockin' ones), love animals(but only have a pet bird), TV, movies, hanging with friends, family, my bird, this MySpace thing is pretty cool....
The legends of our time... and in my dreams the legends already gone(think: Hendrix, Einstein, Martin Luther King Jr., etc).Speaking of legends, I would've loved to have seen Led Zeppelin in concert in say 1970...or Cream or Hendrix in the late 1960's. To see the beginning of it all...now that would've been cool...I was just too young. Funny story: sometime in the early 1970's my older sisters (teenagers at the time) were getting ready for a concert (Led Zeppelin) that they were "sneaking out" to attend. I begged, begged my sisters to take me with them...I even tried bargaining that "I wouldn't tell" if I could go. I didn't understand the concept that I did not have a ticket and I was only 6 years old at the time. ha! Well, I've been rockin' ever since. And on a daily basis: I'd enjoy meeting animal lovers, music lovers, and genuinely good people.

I literally like ALL kinds of music: Rock, R&B, Country, (some)Classical, Alternative; but my favorite is all decades of RnR: classic rock, blues rock, acid rock, southern rock, hard rock, modern rock, metal, alternative, new wave, etc. I love when someone turns me on to something great that I missed (from the past) or something great I have yet to discover (from the present).
Funny movies of all sorts; Thrillers; Mysteries; Seriously good, make-you-think dramas like Slingblade, Shawshank Redemption, To Kill a Mockingbird, Crash, Time to Kill, etc; All-around-great movies like Forrest Gump, the Notebook, and many more. My favorite movie from my younger days is The Breakfast Club....I love all the characters in that movie...but Ally Sheedy making her Cap'n Crunch sandwhich is the best!
I have my favorites which I like to tune in when I'm home: My Name is Earl,The Office, CSI, Forensic Files, and many more. Before bed, I almost always flip through my favorite channels to see what's on: CourtTV, VH1, HistoryCh, USA(Law&Order CI & SVU reruns,Psych,Monk), and Lifetime(shhh...don't tell anyone)for Golden Girls reruns...Sofia cracks me up! I really need a DVR so I can record my favorites because I just can't seem to catch them every week...it would make my tv watching more fruitful and productive...haha...now that's an oxymoron. :)
I read about everything else but books, like magazines, newspapers, internet, etc....yep, I'm an info junkie. Oh wait, I read non-fiction books of all kinds. Once in awhile I will read a fiction book if it "catches" me or if it is a gift. Last one I read: "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom. It was seemingly average until I was almost 3/4 of the way done and it all came together and it got me good...touched me profoundly.
Ok, I've thought it out and I finally have something to put in my 'Heroes' section. My heroes are: my dad and my nana; anyone who stands up for what they believe even when it's not a popular thing to do; anyone who is willing to sacrifice for others; anyone who puts their life in danger for others.
