Shai Dahan

Art and design, Shai Dahan mirrors the diverse style of his background and heritage into each of his designs. Shai Dahan was born in Israel and raised in California since 1989. He was exposed to extraordinary amount of culture surrounding him at an early age. At the age of 10 he moved with his family to Los Angeles, California, where he grew up. At the age of 19 he ventured out on his own in Los Angeles to pursue his passion in Art. Studying graphic design and illustration, he mastered and perfected his techniques all across the subjects of art. Over the next few years Shai worked many fields including graphic design, photography, illustration and storyboard for film and television. He also painted surfboards which eventually purchased by musician Jason Miraz during an auction for the Life Rolls On Foundation. He has been a graphic designer for years and is able to touch every dream he imagines. From designing a clothing line, to logo creation for successful companies that have been launched, to animation. Whether providing a celebrity with artwork for their home or an every day art lover, Shai incorporates each of their sensibilities and strengths. Every season designers come and go but his design has had longevity and is leaving a mark in the design world. Few have the talent and savvy to maintain. Art, ultimately is a business, and no one understands this better than Shai Dahan. In 2008 Shai will be moving to New York City to hopefully uncover new influences and creative outlets of inspirations that he can not find in Los Angeles.
