I am here for Friends

About Me

i perform poetry: i throw little mud pies of consciousness at people (that sometimes ryhme, oh i have a love affair with rhymes) i sing, talk too much and i am trying really hard to listen more. "because when i take a moment to notice
each one of us is a luminous bundle of color drops a collectively contaminated public pool of thought swimming with brightly colored rings and slippery laminated stories to sing, and i want to dive through them all, i want to be the lifeguard that saves you when you fall and start to sink, when you think you're going into deep, the one that reminds you that it's when you hit the concrete that you'll no longer be asleep..." i am giving up roles, wearing mismatched socks, listening to my music too loud, measuring years by the books I have read and learning to see beyond what is in front of me.i mother, i laugh and i am not capitalizing myself anymore, because You are the more interesting one.
here's one of my poems:

My Interests

disecting dew drops. listening to my atoms swell. tickling baby feet. laying hands on the ozone.trying ridiculous fads like magnet therapy and meditation. your dreams. ink pens. the destruction of corporate politics. "when we become the the illumined snow globe chosen from the shelf to be shaken and looked upon with awe." lentils. suitcases. anything that changes or opens, little gold lockets especially

I'd like to meet:

people with a cause, a song, a poem or idea.
"We are living through one of the most fundamental shifts in history ; a change in the actual belief structure of Western society. No economic, political, or military power can compare with the power of a change of mind. By deliberately changing their images of reality, people are changing the world." ; Willis Harman, Global Mind Change
