Pretty Nikki

I am a 35 year old, single mom with a GORGEOUS 15 year old daughter. I love my daughter, and I LOVE TO SING!!!! I've been singing ever since I can remember, inspired by my mom and family, who would get together and harmonize to tunes from Sweet Honey in the Rock to the Temptations. One of my greatest accomplishments was in 2004, when I was approached by one of the members of the Delfonics after a show with the After Hours Band to perform in Atlantic City at the Borgata Hotel for the "My Music 70's Soul Concert. This concert was hosted by none other than Ms. Patti LaBelle (sweetest lady ever). I sang background for some of the greatest old school artists/groups of the 70's, to include, The Delfonics (Didn't I Blow Your Mind This Time), Heatwave (Always & Forever), Tavares (More Than A Woman), McFadden & Whitehead (Ain't No Stopping Us Now), Maxine Nightingale (Lead Me On), Yvonne Elliman (If I Can't Have You), George McCrae (Rock Your Baby), and The Manhattans (Kiss & Say Goodbye). I had a blast, the most rewarding experience by far!!!! This program was aired on PBS and is still being aired, you can probably catch it off the late night.Come check me out every Friday at The Meeting Place (17th and L Street) with the AFTER HOURS BAND.
