So where do I start.......
Originally born in Peckham South East London, I grew up in and around that area. But recently I moved to Southend in Essex, which is quite a difference I can tell you..........
I started singing when I was just 10 years old, by performing at school events and been singing ever since.
I got my first mini break in the music industry when I was 16 singing the theme tune to a popular cookery program called "Rick Steins - Taste of the Sea" (I never earned a penny!!!! - lesson 1 learned very early!!!!!!).
After this I was doing talent shows and karaoke competitions to try and get noticed. It took until 2004 to finally get another break!!! I was spotted in my local pub " The Farwig" in Bromley, singing "Hero" by Mariah Carey. That lead to me recording a track for some great local producers, who later introduced me to the Freemasons. The rest as they say is history!!!!
I also sing in many other styles but not many people are aware of this. I originally started as a soul singer and still love singing that genre, done a few R'n'B tracks and loads of power ballads, thats where my voice is best suited I think.
As you probably know though.... I went on to record two dance tracks with the Freemasons, called "Love on my Mind" and "Watchin" which got to number 11 and 19 in the UK charts.
Ever since then I have been lucky enough to sing at countless different events all over the world including KTU radio show events in New York and New Jersey, NYE in Moscow, Xmas in Holland, Radio 1 roadshow with Dave Pearce and co in Ibiza and just about every nightlub in the UK at some point over the last 2 years.
I recently started writing my own tracks & co-wrote "Intoxicated" which is available to buy or download along with WAWA & Herd's "The Right Way" from the NEW Hed Kandi The Mix: 2008 Album. Both tracks can be previewed in the player above or follow the link to the left to download from iTunes.
