Art; Graphic Design; Photography; Fashion (especially women's fashion: lingerie, clothes, footwear, accessories - partly from a design point of view - as a bit of a hobby, although I thought seriously about making this my career); Archtecture and Interior Design (I almost went into this as a career, too) "Arm chair" science, history, geography - I'm curious and interested in most things to some degree.
Not sure off hand, maybe some artists, graphic designers, photographers, musicians (see below). My "heroes" are all dead (see below). Richard Branson?I'll have to think about it more...
Just Jack's new album is fantastic, and I like most kinds of music from Rock, Mowtown, Pop, Jazz, Classical, R&B, Disco, House/Garage, Folk/Traditional (world music), Big Band/Swing, Rockabilly, Punk, Chill, Smooth Jazz, etc.I do a bit of part-time DJing - nothing like Pete Tong, just playing music for wedding receptions, birthdays, etc. have a look at www.detroitpromotions.co.uk for a bit more info (new Web site coming soon).
Not too many recently (at the cinema, anyway), just on TV/Cable, comedies, action, sci-fi, and you can't beat the old B&W (and colour) classics from the 1930s, 40s, 50s.
24, Lost, Heros, Action, documentaries, X-Files, sci-fi - not too much into most "reality" TV (although I do like Strictly Come Dancing, and Dancing on Ice - "reality" shows which I think have a bit more of a point to them - and fantastic costumes!).
Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons (not as good as DVC), factual/documentary kinds of books, general interest again. I think I'd like to even write a book someday - but it's hard work.
I'm not too into hero worship; I think people who have achieved significant things in a number of areas are heros, like: Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Leonardo da Vinci. They all had excellent skills and talents in a variety of subjects. I'll have to keep thinking on this one...
