"A friend is always good to have, but a lover's kiss is better than angels raining down on me." Dave Matthews"The things that people in love do to each other they remember, and if they stay together it's not because they forget, it's because they forgive." from the movie, "Indecent Proposal"Marriage is not a ritual or an end. It is a long, intricate, intimate dance together and nothing matters more than your own sense of balance and your choice of partner.- Amy Bloom -Love is a choice you make from moment to moment. It is not a lack of love, but a lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages.Your body needs to be held and to hold, to be touched and to touch. None of these needs is to be despised, denied, or repressed. But you have to keep searching for your body's deeper need, the need for genuine love. Every time you are able to go beyond the body's superficial desires for love, you are bringing your body home and moving toward integration and unity.

My Interests

my amazing boyfriend, going to shows, playing in the rain, hanging out, road trips, having adventures in every way possible, playing dodgeball, seeing campaign for quiet play shows, watching Frankie and his antics, making new friends, dive bars, karaoke, swing dancing, sushi, my friends are my life, doing anything for the sake of humor and entertainment (almost anything), thrift and vintage stores, music, music, music, musicthis explains me to a T!

I'd like to meet:

your mom.Aim is KimberOfTheJungl

Music:

I love all music. Well, not ALL, but most. I'm ecclectic. I like lots of stuff. I like Rancid and Bad Religion and Dancehall Crashers, but I also love Rilo Kiley, The Faint, The Sounds, and other things like System of a Down and The Darkness. I love the Specials and Madness, but I really enjoy listening to Edwin McCain and other random stuff. Basically, there's a good chance if it's rock and roll that I will like it. Though not always. I also like rockabilly and big band music, some jazz and classical, though I don't often listen to it. There's just other stuff I'd rather listen to often times. I love love love local music. Campaign for Quiet is phenomenal. Get Back Loretta is insanely talented. The Toast is beyond words.....and A Scribe Amidst the Lions are spectacular and I am thoroughly addicted to their album. I'm addicted to Black rebel Motorcycle Club, The Arcade Fire, Dresden Dolls, and I think that Conor Oberst is a phenomenal lyricist. I fell in love with Dirty Sweet and Daredevil Jane at a show recently. I would give my right arm to see the rest of their shows that they will play forever and ever. Fucking amazing.

Movies:

Empire Records, Kill Bill, Shaolin Soccer, Moulin Rouge, Dogville, The Dreamers, Napolean Dynomite, Chocolat, Like Water for Chocolate, Pulp Fiction, Boondock Saints, Natural Born Killers, Empire Records, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Almost Famous, Twin Warriors, The Big Labowski, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Nightmare Before Christmas, Big Fish, Velvet Goldmine, Snatch, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Suicide Kings, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Fight Club, Trainspotting, Requiem for a Dream, Lost in Translation, Coffee and Cigarettes, etc...I recently fell in love with Chicago.

Television:

Books:

Chuck Palahniuk (Lullaby, Fight Club, Survivor, Choke, etc), Dead Air (not sure who it's by), Nightmares and Dreamscapes and other Stephen King shorts. C.S.Lewis. The Bible. Fiction works that are based on actual events. True stories about murderers and serial killers. I really liked the book called "Yours Truly, Jack the Ripper". I'm a fan of James Frey's works, no matter what other people say. The Perks of Being a Wallflower was....amazing, to say the least.

Heroes:

the gentleman I saw yesterday (11/02/06) stopped to help a flipped car in an accident. I wish I'd stopped. All I did was make a phone call. I admire that man more than you could imagine.my grandmother. if you knew her, you'd know all the many reasons why.
