Influences: Music is my life, I cannot live without it, for that reason - making an exception to metal, that is a genre I really can't stand - I listen and I'm influenced from it all.
Of course there are genres, waves, people that I loved and that influenced me most, like the techno pioneers from Detroit (Juan Atkins, Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson) and generally all the Detroit wave, all the artist that created the "High tech Soul" (Carl Craig, Technasia, Theo Parrish, Blake Baxter, Kenny Larkin, DJ3000, Richie Hawtin, John Beltran, Joey Beltram, Underground Resistance, Los hermanos), that revolutioned not only a music genre, but that they started a movement and a culture. I love also the German scene, the Koln minimal wave of 90s, the atmospheres communicated by genius like Justus Kohncke, Superpitcher, Michael Mayer, the Voigt brothers. Vynil that have inside of their gum traces industrial, dark, melancholic, night and eastern atmospheres, they succeed to make you feel places that maybe you never saw but that you can dream just closing your eyes.
I love Opera, and expecially Maria Callas, the voice of the millenium, grace, power and emotion altogether in a voice, in the small body of a sad woman, that gave her life to music and to the wrong men, and that for this last lost her life, and that only in the magic of her performances succeed to live and to delight generations and generations.
I love 80s, the best years for music, the year that changed the planet and that changed the music. I'd pay to have the possibility to turn back the time and live the atmosphere of these years, the electro pop, the new wave, the dark, the mods, the punk, the italian songwriter, not only singers but real poets (Battiato, De Andrè), the combat groups (Litfiba, CCCP) and everything that came out from that years.
I love progressive, I love old school electro, I love house, I love trance, I love quality dance music in general, but the main love is Techno. I love djs that make you jump, but I love even more the one that astonish you with every track they mix.
Generally about music, I think three words are important and necessary, QUALITY, MELODY and HARMONY, if there are these three words and concepts music open you the door for another dimension, the dimension of the dream, the only one able to gives you only pleasure.
I haven't quoted all the artist I love and I listen everyday, but the one I love succeed to put togethers all these three words and concept, and I collect them all in that phrase. I hope I made you understand the meaning of my speech, cause that is the effect music make in my mind and life.
