Once upon a time Carla and Arturo gave birth to me in a small town between Milan and Varese: Busto Arsizio.. (This place is known as the great singer Mina hometown).I had a very normal and happy childhood, spent between school, playing, an elder brother whose name is Emanuele, friends and lot of fantasy. I was already a little deejay. In fact, I remember that, while my mom was ironing,, I used to take her old 50s’ record player to play her records. My favourite ones were “Metti una sera a cena” by Ennio Morricone and and “Je t’aime moi non plus” by Serge Gainsbourg. My DJ career started just right thereJust as all the other kids of my generation, I was fond of cartoons like Atlas Ufo Robot, and of TV shows featuring young girls, who would have become TV screen icons in the future. My life turned to dance music when I recorded from the radio Physical Attraction by Madonna, a singer whose name was new for me at that time.Despite all these influences my life went normally on, till the day I decided to quit my studies, and abandon a monotonous private life, to throw myself into music business. It was 1987…what a memorable date!While Rick Astley and Michael Jackson were driving the discos crazy, I worked in a Pub called Bar Stardo. From a shy teenager I become an extremely outgoing person. I started working in a music store and as a DJ helper in disco clubs:, practically I handed out the cds to the DJ, but sometimes I was allowed to play music I personally selected. It taught me a lot of important things. I was lucky enough to work with people who had a huge and almost absolute music knowledge. I learnt all I know from them. With great efforts, in 1990 I managed to be the first DJ at Maggie’s Park, a huge disco villa near Milan. As a DJ I never had an easy life because I chose to play club music and downbeat, known today as RNB, and though I never forgot some good authentic revival. In 1993 I approached myself to house music, discovering my personal style in playing records. Finally in 1994 my greatest adventure began in the Big Apple, not in New York, but in Milan where, as I started to work in a huge radio network , I met new people and found new great clubs to work in : Hollywood, Propaganda, Shocking, Soul to soul, Decò and many more….(to many to be listed).In some of them I was guest dj and I was resident dj in other ones. I feel so lucky because, during this working experience, I found a lot of very close friends I still can count on: some people in Havana Cafè in Crema, or in Albert’s in Varese and friends from Karma in Milan.In this period I met three of my closest and most important friends: Gianluca F. Christian S. And Antonella S. I also get closer to a wonderful girl : Monica she is like a sister to me Thanks to my brother Ema, who is always by my side, Elena Dario, Marco, Niccolò, Fausto, Paola, Raffi, J, and all my huge family. Thanks to be here!I remember everything and everyone, both great and difficult moments. But I always go on and I never stop learning Wisdom can not only be found in great people but also in ‘little’ ones; the former gives you knowledge, the latter spontaneity and sincerity: gifts and virtues I never stopped searching. Smile is the best way of living.All the other things are still to be written and the road is still long and sometimes winding, but this is the good side of life.
