How I made my profile:
I used Dave & Jay's amazing myspace editor .
The band Maestro Ciminiera & His Funky people started playing togheter five years ago.
We play Blues with strong influences of Rock and Jazz, with the rhythm section that plays with the spirit of a jazz band, free of jamming, while guitars and keyboards play fills and chords.
We have played at Aventino Blues Festival in 2003 edition and 2004 edition, sharing the stage with HOT TUNA and has been selected in a contest to play in Pistoia Blues Festival 2004 , the most important blues festival in Italy, being selected for the final.
Our songs have been played by blues radio in Denmark, Australia, Belgium, Argentina, Italy and Russia and have been in the chart of the most downloaded blues groups in IUMA & MP3.AU.
A song of ours has been included in a compilation by Kid Antrim Music label, and we have been included in two anthologies of Italian indie music Virus Alternativi and Rock & Contaminazioni.
Our first Cd Days of a future past has been published by Statue Records.
