About Me

Michele aspires to “be the change” in all aspects of her life. She is intelligent, self-confident, empathic, and has a positive attitude. She is exceedingly curious, she reads, she is a life-long student. She is open, forthright, and ethical. She expects and encourages the best in others. She walks, talks, and facilitates mental, physical, and spiritual health. She recycles, writes letters to her legislators, votes with her dollars, is a long-time co-op and CSA farm member, and she donates to charitable organizations. She travels, she respects and observes cultural differences, and she smiles in all languages. She teaches tai chi and yoga to children. She hikes, kayaks, and appreciates the gifts of natural world. She endeavors to make the world a better place through her interaction with others.

Magical and fabulous people who desire scintillating conversation, loitering aimlessly, splashing in the sea, mugs of dark chocolate, energy exchange, making a difference, and learning something new and intriguing every day. Kayakers and outdoor enthusiasts...

Music:

It really depends on my mood... lately: Beck, Modest Mouse, Leonard Cohen, Lloyd Cole, Pink Floyd, Paper Mache, Bright Eyes, Gary Jules, Val Emmich.

I don't own one, but if I did, I would watch Animal Planet. And Weeds.

I read incessantly... current topics: Human Behavior, Health Psychology, How-To Guide for Raising Chickens, Mental Floss, Mother Jones.

Heroes:

David Bohm, Candace Pert, Bruce Lipton, Jacques Cousteau, Krishnamurti, Denali & Isabel, Gandhi, Richard Feynman, Isabel Steidinger, HH The Dalai Lama, Richard Kahn, Einstein, Fibonacci, DaVinci, Gandhi, Brian Greene.
