My love of nature, wildlife, and animals is the basis of who I am. There is not a critter or plant that does not deserve love, care, and appreciation. That said, I will attempt to describe me.
I am a very complex person. There is nothing about me that is consistant or predictable. The types of books I read and music I listen to varies from day to day. My daily routine is anything but routine, since I never know what each day may bring...just adapt to whatever happens.
People have described me as mysterious. This is true. Less than a handful of people know who I really am. For the most part, I like it this way.
When I was 16, I met my soul mate. We fell in love, married, and had 2 children. This man remains my soul mate and the love of my life forever. Some of you probably know him on here as Magickal One.
Home is my sanctuary where I can relax, meditate, read, listen to my music, create my painting projects, and just kick back.
I don't do drugs (never have) and very seldom drink. My high is music.
I paint stepping stones, flower pots, furniture, clip boards, mail boxes.....anything that doesn't move! I find this very relaxing and rewarding. Most of my artwork is given as gifts. Occasionally, I sell a stone or flower pot.
I grew up in the Episcopal church; however, at an early age, realized that organized mainstream religion was not compatable with my beliefs. There are Gods AND Goddesses. Man is not the superior to woman. They are equal. Over the years I became a pagan and actually am still researching my spirituality, but Wicca and Native American appeal to me, among others. It really doesn't matter; however, because I have a pretty good understanding of myself, nature, Mother Earth, and my relationship in the whole damned scheme of things.
