Safari [ gospel - soul ]

Safari is a Norwegian gospel/soul-group founded in Oslo, Norway 1997. The group consists of fourteen excellent singers, most of whom working full time with music.

Safaris musical style varies from contemporary gospel and soul to traditional gospel, from beautiful and touching ballads to funky disco from the seventies. Over the last years, more and more of their repertoire has consisted of self-composed material, something the audience really seems to appreciate.

The combination of Safaris brilliant singers and their use of various musical genres, makes Safari an exciting and very energetic project.

During the years, Safari has performed on various stages all over Norway, participated in a lot of different arrangements, festivals, TV-shows and more.

The response from both the press and the audience has been overall positive.
