BEA BARCLAY:Mama Africa, as she has been endeared by her numerous fans, has seen her popularity soar to imaginable heights since Lover J and Napoleon X produced her debut single Remember in the summer of 2003. The music star returned to Monrovia, Liberias capital, in 2005 to an enthusiastic welcome after more than two decades away from her home. She immediately embraced her bestowed role of Ma and began her campaign to help the unfortunate of Liberia by organizing member United Nations, governmental agencies, private businesses, and fellow citizens to dedicate finances, time, and hard work to joining her to clean up the streets. Mama Africa has not stopped there.Since returning to the United States, she began telling all who will listen about the struggles of Liberians.
