Rose's music is best described as Urban Injected Alternative, with a Jazz Twist. Her Debut Album "A NEW HER" has no boundaries. Roselynn Releases herself in uptempo Dance songs, reveals herself through Jazz chords and through soulful ballads.
Roselynn Savage born May 18th 1984, Las Vegas Nevada Native- Was born into a quiet and well mannered home.
Father, Roosevelt Savage, [born in Memphis, Tennessee] was abandoned by his father. With a young, teen-aged, party animal for a mother, he was forced to emancipate at the age of 13. By the late 50's, he became the lead singer in a traveling soul/R&B band. At that time, a musical career was a struggle, and with the ethnicity of being part Cherokee, but majority African American, He endured plenty of hardships to pass on to his daughter, as well as plenty of great outcomes to make her life a good one.
Mother, Raquel Savage, [born into a family of 18 in the poverty enriched Philippines] also shares a life of extremely hard work and hardships that Roselynn would be reminded of everyday. Both her mother and father fought for their lives and careers and have won their place in today's society. Roselynn has gone through from eating scarce to nothing, to being raised in a nice home with a well deserved lifestyle.
Early in her childhood Roselynn Found an escape through performing. In January 1995, Roselynn was chosen to be apart of a young group of singers put together by Steven Fortgang (elementary school teacher). By the age of 10 Rose was balancing Homework with Recording sessions, live performances, and local television appearances.
By 1998 Roselynn's Mother decided to enhance her daughters shining talent by submitting her into John Robert Powers, and Kim Flowers Talent agency.They set the mold by teaching the fundamentals of proper etiquette, acting, singing, and modeling. She has worked under the teachings of world renowned Rana Kirkland (Will Smith) and, Dawn Jeffory Nelson (Jennifer Biel). Through these busy years Roselynn signed with Paris Talent Agency, Participated in IMTA, and Evolve Talent Agency. At the age of 15 years old Roselynn was flying back and forth between Vegas, California, and New York for auditions. On the side she was also keeping herself busy singing, winning multiple local talent and open mic shows.She took places running up on Miss Teen Asia and Sing Sensations (aired on Fox Televisions). Mind you these years of fluent work and maintaining astounding grades with no social life did indeed catch up to Roselynn.
In her mid Teens Roselynn Started Feigning for a regular lifestyle and real friends. Through the hardships of regular life and the unbalances to mix together two completely different social lifestyles, Roselynn became distressed. Overwhelmed and with her parents concerns she decided to stifle perusal of acting and singing and finish High School. With many ambitions Roselynn and enrolled into college aiming for a bachelor's in music education and performing arts. She excelled in theater and choir and began to miss what she began to make for herself.
July 2006, A young group of inspiring Producers, Artist Development, artists, and Management directors. Found Roselynn and immediately saw potential. Dynamic Enterprises including Ryan Thornsley Producer and Manager, and Adrian Jones Producer and Development. Took Roselynn in, started training, and recording her. Sending her on photo shoots and frequent appearances through west coast publishers. Roselynn Has Been stirring up a commotion deep in the underground. Nearing completion of her Debut album "A NEW HER". Roselynn Savage is hear to stay and prove that real music and hard work is still around and will never fall.
