I love movies. I live near one of the greatest movie theatres in the country, the Galaxy Lafayette Theatre in Suffern, and my wife and I got married there.
Terence Stamp. I'd just like to meet the guy who played General Zod before I die.
I like quirky-yet-hard-rocking music. Top of the chart is They Might Be Giants, followed by Sleater-Kinney, OK Go, Spiraling, the Killers, early Weezer, Neutral Milk Hotel, Dashboard Confessional, the Decemberists, the Fratellis and How I Became the Bomb. I enjoy some more mainstream rap and hip-hop, like Gnarls Barkley, Ludacris, Jay-Z, Sean Paul, Li'l Kim and Eve, but I also dig '80s music, classic rock and oldies.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, the Harry Potter series, The Royal Tennenbaums (or any Wes Anderson film), Oh Brother Where Art Thou? (or any Coen Bros. film), Ferris Bueller's Day Off (or any John Hughes film), Top Secret (or any Zucker Bros. film), Hellboy, Blade 1-3, X-Men 1-3, Zoolander, Robocop, Donnie Darko, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Top Secret, Real Genius. Too many more to list.
Flight of the Conchords, 30 Rock, Lost, Doctor Who, Scrubs, Bones, Little Britain, The Office (U.S. version), America's Next Top Model, Medium, Moonlight, Life and Project Runway. I don't like the original Law & Order, but SVU and Criminal Intent are pretty boss. RIP: Buffy, Angel, Spaced, Exit 57, The State, Mr. Show, Bionic Woman
Harry Potter, plus anything by Neil Gaiman, Douglas Adams or Terry Pratchett. I've enjoyed all the Haruki Murakami I've read, too. Comic-wise, anything by Joss Whedon, Brian K. Vaughn, Warren Ellis or Brian Michael Bendis. Hellboy is my favorite comic character, although Iron Man is up there as well.
