Welcome to the Cap Gun Roulette myspace page.
We are a band from Troy, New York.
We are in a scene that is filled with many hardcore bands
but we do not exactly embrace the hardcore roots of our hometown.
We are Cap Gun Roulette
Our sound is very out going.
Influences range from many different areas of the music world.
We take from the metal world with bands like Metallica, Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine, Atreyu, Protest the Hero, and A7X.
We also take a lot from the old classic rock world like Zeppelin and Sabbath
and more recent bands of that era like AC/DC and Guns'N'Roses.
We have many more influences from almost anything you can think of.
When you think of our sound the words epic, anthmetic, cathcy, and ballsie come to mind.
We have guitars that riff it up with loud, heavy, stick in your head masterpieces.
We pride ourselves in our technical solos that would make Steve Vai blush
Hell he'd cry to his mommy.
Drums that rip through the music with bass drives and unexpected beats that will give you awe.
Bass lines that stack up against our guitars and are not left behind,
yet held up front with the rest of the band.
Lastly we layer our metal sandwhich with a vocal topping of heavy, ranged screams and soaring vocal melodies that are borderline pop.
We will have you singing for days.
We are ready to take on this world by storm and no, we don't plan on slowing down.
We want to reserve our spot next to the greats
like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Metallica, and The Rolling Stones.
The question is not are we ready for the world...
