Renart L'..veill..'s minion... antisocial creature who lives in a partitionned head... revived by the web...(Pour lire la bio en version fran..aise, aller au profil "Renart L'..veill.." (le premier dans ma liste d'amis)Born in Blainville in 1971 in the Basses-Laurentides in Quebec, Canada. Studies visual arts in college. At 18', begins a dj career and sings in cover groups (Vade in pace). Thereafter, he becomes singer and lyric writer for two funk-rock groups : "XXX Secours" and "Vendetta d'aspics". In addition to singing and writing the texts, he begins composing music for the first album of "Karmad'a.." (alterno-progressive-hard-rock), released in 1998. During that year, the group plays at the Montreal Spectrum during the "francofolies de Montr..al" festival. They receive favorable reviews and hold first positions on the french charts of Montreal's campus and community radio stations. In 1999, a few months after being forced to leave Karmad'a.., the group "F..tiche" requires his services. Then they rename to "M..gaphone". For that project, in addition to the texts and the voice, he takes an active part helping composing the music: "alternative groovy-rock" style. At the same time, he starts composing computer assisted techno music as well as working as a dj in clubs and events of the electronic scene (a.k.a Dj Elmo). Also works in clubs where theres music from many styles for a variety of people. The group "M..gaphone" quietly builts a repertory, makes a few shows and its members start thinking about an album. After having asked the drummer to leave, the group decides to use programmed rhythms and thus begins producing the album. While the guitarist does sound recording, mixing and some rhythms programmings, he programs most of the rhythms, trying to keep a rock sound using real samples. When everything is almost done, a major data-processing problem happens, they lose all of their work out of recovery. The group decides to give up.In 2002, begins his solo project, called "Lunatique" (Actually, he change for "Renart L'..veill.." because of another Qu..bec hip-hop artist already own this name). At the same time, he starts writing a novel that is now ready and waiting to be published. In 2004, his techno remix (under the pseudo "ElmoLeBouddha") of the Yann Perreault's song "La chair, les animaux" is selected for a vinyl special edition printing.Still work as a DJ.
