History:
Flat Pak Yak is the stuff of legends, born of a long line of heroic and courageous Yak herders, dating back to pre 1900. Flat Pak Yak was born of the dream of Grandma Yak, who pioneered the first Yak festival on Mount Nyainqentanglha for the monks of Tibet. - - - - - - - - - - - Grandma Yak begat Uncles Yak Herder Igor and Igon, (twins born 2 years apart)who continued in Grandma Yak's hoofsteps. (In the photo, the more bashful of the two, Uncle Yak herder Igon, was standing behind Uncle Yak Herder Igor.)- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Planning gigs by day and running them by night, Flat Pak Yak gained a massive increase of potential Tibetan monks, and Uncle's Yak Herder were able to parade their stunning prize winning Yaks for all the budding Unsigned band audiences to see. The two brothers shared a volitile relationship, and when Aunt Yak Herder Brunhilda became the object of both of their affections, an almost irreparable rift arose and the two felt that Tibet was not big enough for the both of them. Uncle Yak Herder Igor and Igon brought their unsigned promotions with them to the USA and The UK respectively. (It was discovered later that Brunhilda had an equally lovely twin named Brunhelga. And one went with each of the brothers. The feud however continued.) Decades later, at the Yak Herder family reunion, Brunhilda and Brunhelga encouraged the two elderly brothers to reconcile, leading to the merge of the two lineages, and thus their thriving companies. This union formed the Flat Pak Yak Promotions company you see today. The company is run by Granddaughters Yak Herder, who still enjoy milking the occasional Yak today. - - - - - - - - - - - - -..
