------------------------------

Random Friend Selecter is a brand new pop-rock outfit. Award-winning songwriter David Nelligan’s songs each encapsulate some aspect of the human experience, lyrically crashing polar opposite views into each other to find some resolution, some happy medium, some emotionally satisfying experience for the audience. Immediately catchy and deceptively simple, the songs are bursting with melody and harmony, guitar hooks and dynamic shifts. Harmonies and keyboards from Katie Holly add yet another dimension to the songs, underpinned skilfully by the rhythm section, bassist Paddy Rahilly and drummer Ruth Gordon. The songs provided here are from Dave’s home recordings and the band arrangements have since evolved, creating a new sound you can’t find anywhere but at the live shows… stay tuned for details.
