"Old Enough to Know Better"

About Me

"I just followed my horn."
Throughout Skip's whole life, the trumpet seemed to lead him. In fact, Skip's first love saved his life more than once. On his debut album Old Enough to Know Better, Skip tells some of the tales that come out of humanities' lost and found.
In 1983 Skip was sent to Berlin with the U.S. Army Band and fell in love...with Berlin. He's been on the scene ever since, playing for everyone from Jocelyn B. Smith to Harald Juhnke. No matter if he's in the musical theaters or hittin' it with the Zöllner, Disco Inferno, the Savoy Dance Orchestra or his own band 9LIVES, Skips performance skills make any stage come alive. He sings about sadness, obsession, anger, desperation, joy, experience in the form of gray hair, Love, dialogues and of course that last item in Pandora's box, Hope.
Old Enough to Know Better is like people that have stories to tell: intense and gripping, diverse and exciting! Grown up Grooves.
