Veins of Ice was the spawn of one man's hatred of mankind. It was birthed in the summer of 2004 with no idea of how powerful a being it would become. Sole member, Alex McFarland, broke off from a band he was in during high school and decided to secrete his rage through a solo project entitled "Veins of Ice." Finally, with a dozen songs under his belt, he is compiling an album to be self-released. Alex writes, records, edits, mixes, masters, and produces all the tracks under the name Veins of Ice. Inspired by extremely brutal solo projects such as Putrid Pile and Burzum, Veins of Ice hopes to achieve such greatness. Until that day, thank you for your continued support of Veins of Ice and stay tuned for a CD release sometime early 2008.
Veins of Ice uses Jackson Guitars, Crate and Behringer Amplifiers, Boss, MXR, and Digitech pedals, Shure Microphones, Peavy Mixers, Nuendo 3, and Reason 3
