GORO: gruppo che dimostra grande grinta e cannibalismo in sede live,con cover che riprendono il buon death metal di Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Dying Fetus, Severe Torture e Six Feet Under!!! Goro came to life in 2002 as death/ thrash band influenced by artists like Sepultura, Slayer, Cannibal Corpse and others. The band comprised Alex (voice), Marco (drums), Gigi (guitar), Gian (guitar) and Pedro (bass) . For two years they had concerts in several pubs of Verona, Vicenza and their provincial areas. They played covers but also own songs in classic death metal style, which is far different from the way the play now. In September 2004 they self-recorded their first demo “Suicidio” including five songs: one is an instrumental one, the others are singed in Italian. Thanks to it the band ran up a series of dates and Goro become one of the prominent names in the crowed musical scene of Verona. Unfortunately during this lucky period Gian and Pedro decided to leave the band, tired of such a violent kind of music. This was due to the new style the rest of the band was aiming to : a technical and “no-compromises” death grind. In the following months the trio went on with this goal through exciting live performances without feeling the loss of the two members gone. In 2005 the guitarist Diego and the bassist Ape joined the band. This new strengthen line-up worked on new songs, even more brutal, in the best traditional American death of middle 1990’s. Finally, after have test the new line-up live , they recorded the album “Goro”. This album is the result of the hard work of the band: its five song and the intro show us a brand-new band at the height of its creativity. Five hard death/brutal songs with heavy riff, devastating drumming and the use of the voice as an instrument - therefore without lyrics – all sweetened by a frightening amount of self-irony and passion for the most annihilating music of our planet… The band goes on with it crazy run through guts, foetuses and alcohol … with an hymn: HATE , VIOLENCE AND DESTRUCTION!!!!!!!!!!!!! GORO nascono nel 2002 come gruppo death/thrash influenzato da band quali Sepultura, Slayer, Cannibal Corpse ecc... Nei successivi 2 anni la band composta da Alex(voce),Marco(batteria),Gigi (chitarra), Gian (chitarra), Pedro (basso) suona in vari locali del basso veronese e vicentino proponendo oltre a cover anche canzoni proprie sullo stile di un death metal classico lontano dalla direzione da loro oggi intrapresa. Con questa formazione nel settembre 2004 esce il loro primo lavoro demo autoprodotto "Suicidio" composto da 4 brani di cui uno strumentale interamente cantato in italiano. Grazie a questo, il gruppo colleziona molte date dal vivo portando il nome GORO ad alti livelli e diventando un nome sempre più di spicco nell'affollata scena veronese. Purtroppo in questo periodo fortunato Gian e Pedro decidono di lasciare la band ormai stanchi di un genere cosi' violento,complice anche la nuova direzione intrapresa dal resto della band che sposta la proposta musicale verso un death/grind tecnico e senza compromessi. I successivi mesi vedono il trio portare avanti il loro discorso musicale,proponendo infuocate esibizioni live senza risentire della mancanza degli altri due componenti. Nel 2005 la band rinforza la line-up assoldando prima Diego alla chitarra e successivamente Ape al basso,con questa formazione il gruppo lavora su nuove canzoni sempre più brutali nella migliore tradizione del death americano della metà anni novanta. Dopo aver sperimentato la nuova formazione dal vivo finalmente i nostri decidono di mettere su cd il loro duro lavoro ed esce cosi' "GORO" composto da cinque brani + intro,un mini cd che propone una band fresca e all'apice della creatività. Cinque brani di duro death/brutal con riff pesanti,un drumming devastante e un uso della voce come puro strumento musicale, senza testi quindi,il tutto condito con una dose paurosa di autoironia e passione per la musica più annichilente del pianeta!!! La band prosegue la sua folle corsa attraverso budella, feti e alcool,con un inno HATE VIOLENCE AND DESTRUCTION!!!!!!!!!
