The documentary illustrates how crime and gang violence is no longer the exclusive domain of urban cities like Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, and how prostitutes, street hustlers and gang members live in the shadow of violence and under the constant threat of going to jail and death.There are more than 30 gangs in Durham, totaling nearly 800 active members, averaging between 18 and 25 in ages.
