He was born on 24th of March, 1966 in Edessa .His interest in music was expressed in his early childhood.
ACADEMIC EDUCATION
· He studied Theory and Classical Harmony at the Macedonian Concervatory of Thessaloniki and graduated in 1998 holding a “Specialist in Harmony†degree.
· Then he enrolled in the G. Fakanas Art Music School where he studied modern Harmony, El. Bass, and Ear training for two years.
· In 2000 he travelled to the United States and studied at the Bass Collective of New York where he had the good luck to be taught by John Pattituci, Lincoln Goines, Mike Pope and others.
· He sdudied privately with Matt Garrison
WORK EXPERIENCE
He has been working as a professional musician for the past 20 years. His work experience includes:
· -Co operation with over 50 different Greek artists in music clubs, concert halls, open theatres and music stages.
· -5 world tours with various artists in: the USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa, UK, Belgium, Israel, Cyprus, Germany. Some of the places he have played in are: the Palladium in Los Angeles, the Orpheum Theatre in Boston, the Massey Hall in Toronto, the Arie Crown Theatre in Chicago, the Taj Mahal and Ceazars in Atlantic City etc.
· -Participation in over 60 cds
· -Performances in lots of TV shows and in two video clips.
· -He have been a member of the band in Semina Digeni..s show “Look What You..ve Done†for two years, which is broadcast on Alpha Channel every Saturday night.
· -He currently co operate with the pianist David Nahmia for the “Tracers†show on Channel 1 of the state – owned television network.
· He played at 7th European Jazz Festival of Athens with Jazz Utopia group in 30 of May 2007

· In co operation with Kostas Bravakis he set up the Music Studies Centre of Veria in 1991, which was later renamed to Philippos Concervatory.
· In 2001 he was an electric bass teacher at the City Concervatory of Kalamaria.
· -In co operation with Lakis Tsiatsiamis he set up the Modern Music Workshop in Athens in 2002.
· From 2006 he is an electric bass teacher at the City Concervatory of Peristeri
