He was Born in Kozani.
At the age of 9 he started piano lessons.When he finished senior high school he continued his musical studies in Salonica where he graduated and got his first certificate and Diploma on the Piano with excellence as well as the Certificates on higher Theoritical Studies.In addition he participated in seminars with great pianists perfecting his knowledge on the piano.At the same time with his classical studies he studied Jazz music and composed in various kinds of music.As a result of this quest is the creation of the band "Blue Train" which releases its first CD in 2002 with guest musician the American guitarist Wayne Brasel.Before that he had participated in concerts given all over Greece with great Greek and foreign musicians.He recorded as a session musician in various recordings.He wrote music for the Theatre and a Documentary in collaboration with the well known actor Lakis Komninos as well as the soundtrack in the film of Nikos Zervos "In the shadow of Lemi Kosion" (Film festival of Salonica 2002)Shortly a CD is going to be released with the new compositions of the band "Apopsis".These compositions have already been performed in many towns of Greece with very positive reviews.George Tzoukas is also a piano teacher and the Art Director of the Municipal Conservatory of Kozani.
