The music video of this song titled KYUN has been produced by Sabir Haque and is dedicated to all the vicitms of riots and violence.
A childhood filled with music in Assam, Afreen inherited his passion for music from his mother.
After a short spurt of training with Begum Parween Sultana, Afreen chose to focus on studying for his Masters degrees.
In 2000 Afreen began to spend time in studios in Mumbai where his friend Anil Dole worked. In this time Afreen explored and developed ideas about music composition, lyrics writing and production, which then resulted in his first complete work, Tumhi Ho.
In 2001 Afreen migrated to Aotearoa (New Zealand). Here he continued to nurture his dream of producing his own music. In 2003 Afreen led the founding of SCAG (The Subcontinent Artists Guild Inc.) to encourage a coming together of musicians interested in music from the Indian subcontinent. It was during the seeding of SCAG when Afreen and Karnan met. As they got to know each other, Afreen came to share his passion for music with Karnan. Soon the two of them were working together and "from tomorrow" was conceived.
